The Oiling of America
A documentary presented by Sally Fallon Morell
The diet-heart hypothesis (the premise that saturated fats in animal foods and cholesterol in our blood lead to heart disease, cancer, obesity and other chronic aliments) is repeatedly shown to be wrong, and yet, for complicated reasons of pride, profit and prejudice, the hypothesis continues to be exploited by scientists, fund-raising enterprises, food companies and even governmental agencies. The public is being deceived by the greatest health scam of the century.

Framingham Heart Study on cardiovascular risk factors.
I saw this 2 hour documentary at the Real Food, Real Medicine Conference at the Friday Center early this year. I found the information presented to be somewhat shocking in a heart dropping kind of was …as in “surely this can’t have happened.” I want the people I know and care about to know this information. I’m not an expert on nutrition but I do want company in feeling, thinking and acting about what’s presented in this documentary. So I invite you my friends and colleagues to join me in watching and discussing this presentation.
